This Privacy Policy explains how XpressiveAI Inc. (“Xpressive AI,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data. It applies to your use of the XpressiveAI Inc's website (https://xpressive.ai), our web or mobile applications, and all products and services including sales & soft‑skills courses, AI roleplay practice, and AI‑generated feedback tools (collectively, the “Services”).

Our Services may link to or integrate features from companies we do not control; their practices are governed by their own privacy policies. If you access XpressiveAI Inc through an organizational subscription, this policy may be supplemented or modified by your organization’s Service Agreement.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal data in four ways: information you provide, information we receive from others, information collected automatically, and information we generate.

A. Information You Provide

  • Registration details (name, username, email, phone number, password).
  • Payment and billing information (e.g., card details, billing address).
  • Profile information (photo, job title, company, preferences).
  • Content you submit: video/audio/text from courses or roleplay sessions, messages, support requests, surveys, or event forms.

B. Information We Receive from Others

  • Single sign‑on providers (e.g., Google/Microsoft): name, email, profile picture.
  • Your organization (enterprise accounts): assigned IDs, enrollment, progress, performance data.
  • Partners/service providers: marketing leads, event participation, and analytics.

C. Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: session times, features used, roleplay attempts, course progress, clicks.
  • Device/network data: IP address, device type, OS, browser, language, crash logs.
  • Interaction data: how you engage with trainers, peers, or admins within the Services.
  • Cookies, beacons, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 9).

D. Information We Generate

  • AI‑generated feedback and analytics from roleplays (e.g., tone, pacing, filler words, clarity scores).
  • Transcripts, summaries, and coaching insights derived from your audio/video submissions.
  • Personalized recommendations for courses and roleplay scenarios.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Deliver, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • Provide AI‑driven feedback and personalized training recommendations.
  • Analyze performance trends for you and (if applicable) your organization.
  • Process payments and fulfill transactions; provide support and troubleshoot issues.
  • Send product updates, training tips, promotions, event invitations, and administrative messages.
  • Conduct research, product development, and quality assurance.
  • Protect our users and Services; detect/prevent fraud and abuse; comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in the following cases:

  • Service providers and partners that help operate and improve the Services (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, payment processing, video/audio processing, AI model providers, customer support, disaster recovery, marketing and communications).
  • Your organization (enterprise accounts): designated administrators may access usage and performance data associated with your organizational account.
  • Corporate transactions such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
  • Legal reasons & safety: to respond to lawful requests; protect rights, property, users, or the public; enforce terms; and prevent fraud or security incidents.
  • With your consent or at your direction (including integrations you choose to connect).

5. Your Privacy Choices & Controls

  • Access/Update: View and edit basic account and profile information.
  • Portability: Request a copy of your personal data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data (subject to legal/contractual requirements).
  • Marketing preferences: Unsubscribe from marketing emails or ask us to limit certain marketing uses.
  • Cookies & Ads: Control browser cookies and certain ad preferences (see Section 9).
  • EEA/UK rights: Where applicable, exercise GDPR rights such as objection, restriction, and withdrawal of consent.

We may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, analyze usage, and-in some cases-deliver or measure marketing. You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies; some features may not function properly without them.

  • Session cookies support core functionality while you’re signed in.
  • Persistent cookies help us understand aggregate usage and may support advertising on third‑party sites.
  • Web beacons/pixels help measure email opens and site interactions.

10. International Data Transfers

If you are outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. or other countries that may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use approved legal mechanisms (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) to safeguard such transfers.
